Charli XCX Embraces a Twisted Persona of Herself in Fictional Documentary First Look
The Grammy-winning artist is gearing up for a substantial film appearance in 2026, beginning with the fictional documentary titled The Moment.
In the film, she portrays what she calls as a hell version of herself.
It’s the most authentic portrayal of the music industry that I’ve ever seen, Charli stated.
She further explained in an interview: It’s not a tour documentary, but the idea stemmed from the expectation to create one.
A Glimpse into The Film
The debut trailer, launched on Thursday, blends authentic footage from her live performances with made-up behind-the-scenes moments.
The film is helmed and co-scripted by the director, who shared that the narrative revolves around a reality where Charli opted for alternate decisions throughout the marketing of her hugely successful record Brat.
